To interested parties,
The City has received an application to develop the large track of land between Monte Vista Ave and Azalea Dr. (formally called Azalea Cottages). This is the same track of land that was denied a private sanitary pump station back in 2019. Attached is a letter that will be mailed to property owners within 500’ later this week. This letter has information on the development and also information on the upcoming Site Plan Conference. The Conference is scheduled for Wednesday November 17, 2021 at 10am. This will be a Zoom meeting and interested parties can register at the link below (or through the City website. Note the link on the website might not be up until the end of the week or the first part of next week.).
The site plan is by-right, but the applicant will need to pursue a Critical Slope Waiver from City Council. The applicant is proposing to fill most of the site to insure the sewer system is gravity feed and can connect to the City’s system. Prior to going to City Council, the Planning Commission will deliberate the Critical Slope Waiver request and make a recommendation to City Council. As of the date of this email, no Planning Commission meeting has been scheduled. I will keep interested parties informed when the date is set by email (in addition to letters that will be mailed to property owners within 500’). Please let me know if you have any questions.
