To interested parties,
The proposed rezoning of 240 Stribling will be moving forward to a September 14th Public Hearing at Planning Commission. Attached is the letter that is being mailed out today (or tomorrow) to residents in the area.
I have also attached the plan and supplemental documents. These documents are the same as the ones I sent out a few weeks back with one change, the proffer statement has been updated. The updated statement goes into more detail on the implementation of the affordable units. The new proffer statement also removes the language related to the two million contribution from the developer for improvements to Stribling Avenue. I was not involved in this process, but it is my understanding that the language related to the contribution could not be a “proffer” as it put conditions on the City (in the form of a performance agreement). I also believe the developer is still working with the City on providing the two million for improvements (through a performance agreement), but that process has not involved NDS and at this time I do not know the statues of those conversations. I’m sure this will come up at the Public Hearing.
Once the staff reports is finished and the agenda is set interested parties will be able to review the report and register for the Public Hearing at:

I hope this information is helpful and let me know if you have any questions.
