Old Business
- The City has received the revised plans for the Jefferson Park Avenue pedestrian improvements. Amanda Poncy, the City Bike-Ped Coordinator, and Brennen Duncan, the City Traffic Engineer, will present the revised plans for comment. The plans will be posted at the project website: www.charlottesville.org/JPACrossings. The proposed changes include curb extensions at crosswalks, median refuge islands and pedestrian activated rapid flashing beacons and crosswalk across Jefferson Park Avenue at both ends of the project area.
- Capital Improvement Updates – an update on the status of our other requests will be provided.
- Fontaine Ave. Streetscape Improvements – The Fontaine Streetscape Public Workshop was held January 31st. Materials from the workshop and an online survey of desired design elements can be found on the project workshop at: https://fontainestreetscape.com/.
New Business
Invited Guests – Christine Jacobs, the Executive Director of the Thomas Jefferson Community Land Trust, has been invited to talk about the Community Land Trust, their organization and projects.
